The Catalog contains all the variables for the current object including task, class, instance, local, and parameter variables. It also lists all the schema and query class columns, and file class fields in your library.
The Catalog also lists all OMNIS functions, constants, event codes, and hash variables. When you have found an item in the Catalog, you can enter its name into a calculation field by double-clicking on it or dragging it out of the Catalog.
You can drag a variable name onto a window to create a field with the variable name and type set up automatically.
